The plan of this house, designed in collaboration with its owner, was clear-cut: bedrooms in the front and rear of the house flank an oversized double-height central living room, spacious enough to accommodate the client’s extended family during gatherings.

The street façade is composed of three articulated volumes: a white horizontal box housing a row of bedrooms on the second floor, a ground level guest suite with its own garden, and a vertical travertine-clad volume that houses a two-level library and home theater. A hallway gallery and a balcony traverse the central atrium, forming two bridges – one interior, and one exterior – that link the library and children’s rooms in front to the master suite in the back. Below, the pool runs in a parallel direction. White walls and walnut finishes are used throughout the entirety of the house.
