Void I to VI

Black and white photograms on 16' x 20" light-sensitive paper from "Documenting Absence" at West Gallery

In this photogram series, the material exposed was a single sheet of blank paper with a polygonal opening cut in the center. The same sheet is exposed in different positions to allow multiple ways of seeing the void, from the structured original to an increasingly unrecognizable form.
